Benefit Raffle for Eric Van Norman
Raisin' Grain is hosting a Benefit Raffle to assist a retired fellow Seabee Chief and his family with unexpected medical expenses, as well as offsetting the family’s relocation, meals, and travel costs.
The raffle will be for a coin holder or plaque of your choice up to a maximum of $110 and the raffle will last from now until August 17th, 2024. Tickets are $10.00 each and there are no hidden fees or taxes included. What you pay for a ticket is what it will cost you if you win the raffle.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to the family.
In 2019 Eric had a biopsy diagnosis of IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) and the only cure for this disease was to have a lung transplant. On April 15th, he was placed on the transplant list, but things had suddenly taken a turn for the worse and he was hospitalized on the 29th. His own lungs had given out within a week of being in the hospital but thankfully on May 8th, Eric received his miracle lungs and is now on a long road to recovery.
