Branding the Product
We have a new branding iron and we now stamp the words 'Raisin' Grain Custom Woodworks' on each of our products. The brand is burnt into the wood of each product before it is clear coated (in an inconspicuous place). This lets the world know that you have a Raisin' Grain original product.
If you have purchased a product from us in the past, and would like to have it branded, we would love to do this for you. Just send it to us, or stop by sometime to say hi, and we can have you fixed up in a jiffy.

Social Responsibility
Not only does Raisin' Grain give back to the military community by donating to Homes for Our Troops and Wounded Warrior Project, we also give back to the local community that we live in.
Our Dust Collection System collects sawdust before it hits the shop floor and has a chance to become contaminated with small pieces of metal, plastic, or other debris. The sawdust is then donated to local farmers for use as animal bedding and other farm related needs.

The dovetail joints of our Retirement Chests are hand routed and fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. The dovetail design makes the chest much sturdier than traditional corners and joints. This will ensure your family heirloom will last for many generations to come. It also looks pretty.
Clear Coating a Shadow Box

A few coats of Polyurethane finish each of Raisin' Grain's products. Polyurethane seals the wood, gives it a nice rich color, and makes it shine like a piece of furniture.

Blowing Away the Dust Quick bursts of compressed air blow away any small pieces of saw dust that may have settled on the felt lining of our Shadow Boxes, Display Cases, and Retirement Chests. |
